Fixed: No crank after ign switch replacement

2006 Saturn Ion
2.2L Ecotec
Automatic

Symptom:

No crank, no start, no fuel pump, no passlock light after ignition switch replacement and passlock relearn. All underhood fuses test fine, battery fully charged. No power to any powertrain related fuses in underhood box. All lights, radio, windows, etc function. Dome light comes on when brake depressed in "run".

The fix:

There is a second fuse panel. Its located behind the left side of the center console. There is a 2 amp fuse labeled "ign switch." I spent several hours chasing this issue because I could not find any information online other than "relearn the passlock again." Searches for the location of a second fuse panel turned up nothing. The dome light issue had me convinced that there was a BCM or wiring problem.

I hope this helps someone else. I spent way too much time chasing such a simple problem due to lack of information.
