1998 Dodge Intrepid
I am having trouble keeping my 1998 dodge intrepid running. Ive taken it in for a tune up basically, oil change and new battery just didnt get new spark plugs bc i was told that since my car isnt over 100,000 miles it doesnt need new spark plugs yet, it only has 65,000 miles on it.
I bought it off an auction in 2011 and its been sitting until about last month bc I just havent been able to keep it running. It starts and runs for about 10-15 minutes and then it cuts off and stop driving everytime Ive driven it. I was wondering if anyone knew what it could be bc ive taken it to several ppl and they all say different things. I was told at first it was my brake booster but my brakes works GREAT, and then i was told that it was my spark plugs but just didnt know if i should change them, and then i was told it was my altenator and then they changed their minds bc they told me the numbers were reading just fine. And then i was told that i needed my gas tank drained. If anyone can help me, Id really appreciate it. THANKS! |

Does it start right back up, or do you have to let it sit for awhile?

Re: 1998 Dodge Intrepid
oil flickering light. oil pressure switch may bea leaking, right middle area of engine, also clean the connector and remove with white plug on the oil pressure switch. also for the stalling the most common thing would be crank or cam sensor. I have also changed pcm for this cause.
