Question 94 Spirit dies when making left turns.

I have a 94 dodge Spirit 3.0 auto. It dies when making left turns. It just shuts off, no warning, no stumble. But it starts right back up and runs fine until you turn left. I sit at idle with it in gear F or R and turn the wheel all the way to lock, right or left and no problem.

I'm stumped!

Thanks for reading.

Thumbs up Re: 94 Spirit dies when making left turns.

Solved! Thanks to a nice poster on another board!

The check valve in the bottom of the pump housing has become dislodged... with a half tank or lower it dies turning left.. Put in 4 more gallons of gas, it runs fine.
