Can't get models published in gallery

I submitted three models to the gallery so far they have not been posted. One of them had a link so I removed it and reposted but its still not in the gallery. Thanks for any help.

I don't think the Automotive Forums picture hosting works any long. I know that all the pictures I had placed there are no longer visable in the threads they were associated with. You will have to use an off site picture hosting site like Photo Bucket and then link the pictures to the thread you want them in. It's not really that hard and the Photo Bucket account is free until you reach a certain amount of Megs. I hope this helps.

Thanks icon. I used photobucket to post them and it worked in the preview to the post. Its just that no one has approved them. Others have posted new threads to the gallery and theirs were approved and put in the gallery since I posted mine. I posted these three models.

They are sharp looking models you have built there. I have always liked the old school nascars.

Re: Can't get models published in gallery

Your threads have all been approved. (Sorry about the wait, I was at the beach all day. )

The reason that your threads where held for approval was they were caught by the spam filter. If you make a post with a whole string of pics and little or no text, our filter will tend to treat it as though it is a Chinese spammer posting a dozen enticing pics of knockoff handbags and training shoes.

If you say a bit more about your build (and especially comment between some/each of your individual pics), the spam filter will usually decide that it is a legitimate post and ignore it- so it will appear as soon as you submit it and not require approval.

The filter actually does a fairly decent job of discouraging spammers (especially the variety who aren't inclined to say much about the wares they're attempting to hock), but unfortunately it does catch real member's posts from time to time. The more you type, the more likely your thread won't get filtered. So, tell us about your builds...!

Thanks MPWR, I will do what you said in the future to make things go more smoothly.
