Struts- Different brands on back ok?
When I went to purchase my rear struts, they only had two different brands (one for left and one for right) in stock for my vehicles year and make. Since both are designed for this vehicle, does it matter that they are different brands?

Different brands are ok, just make sure the rate of load that they can hold is the same specified for your car.

Re: Struts- Different brands on back ok?
Thanks! After purchasing the different brands, I was uncomfortable in the visual size difference between the struts. Length was the same but the cylinder size appeared to be different. The only information I was able to find was they both were to "OEM specs". I was able to find a matching Strut @ 40 miles away and decided it was worth the gas and time just to be safe.
