Transmission oil cooler
Hi,
I have replaced the radiator because it was leaking, now if I drive Im loosing transmission oil from the lower cooler line. Can I disable the transmission cooler? Or did I have the same repair again to replace the line? |

Re: Transmission oil cooler
Did you crossthread the fitting in the radiator?

Re: Transmission oil cooler
No, I think that is not tight enough because I'm afraid, the screw is turned half round.

Re: Transmission oil cooler
Check and make sure fitting is tight. I have seen these aftermarket radiators leak trans fluid from around the insert into the tank where the cooler line threads into. If thats the case, the radiator will need replacing, again.
