A/C rear tube is leaking. Where to order?
Hi
Since a while I am loosing A/C liquid. The garage found, after a while and using some florescence in the liquid, that the tube going to the rear A/C is leaking (corrosion). He likes to replace both tubes, the one going and the one on return. Unfortunately this tubes are hard to get in Switzerland. Is there an online store to order these tubes? (Delivery can be made to Florida). To have the exact part number I need e part book or at least a design/draw from the body parts. Where can I get access on parts-books of Transport 1998? Thanks, Joseph |

Is it the small 3/8 line leaking right above gas tank filler tube? I've fixed over a dozen of those by using swageloks-- simply cut out the bad spot and splice in the swagelok union.....work great and you need not buy the new tubes --$$$$

Verify www.rockauto.com
they list 2 tube assemblies DELCO#1531000 and 1531001 as "auxiliary a/c components. " Pictures are available so you can compare ...I just wonder how they can be routed through the assembled vehicle......

Exactly, I checked today how the tubes are fixed/stored but to change them will be a lot of work. I am going to cut the 2 bad pices out (one is from the smaller tube, one from the bigger) and will try to fix it with ? Is it recommended to insert a rubber tube or has it to be metallic? the pressure should be so high, I presume. Joseph |

Re: A/C rear tube is leaking. Where to order?
you could always insert an inline filter in the bad spot..cut out 2 inches and install one.

Re: A/C rear tube is leaking. Where to order?
The inline Filter from AC Delco 15-10413 looks good. Could work on the smaller tube 1cm (3/8 inch) but on the tube going back 1.65 cm where there is another leak, the inline filter is too small. Inline filter goes up to 1/ inch. Have you any other suggestion? The tip with the inline was really good!
