Dodge Ram..to repair or not to repair- Help
Hey.. all I have a dillema, I could use some more advice on. I have the opportunity to get a 96 dodge ram 1500 4x4 for free. The problem is that, the truck has sat for about a year now and I would need to replace...brakes..rotors.. brake lines ...how big of a job would this be to do. I know how to do brakes but have never done them on a 4x4 truck. Would I be able to do them on this truck without any special tools? The truck seems in good condition otherwise. What do you all think?
Thanks Firegirl |

Free is good. The brakes on that truck are not that hard to do, no real special tools needed. Keep an eye on the ball joints and front ujoints though. That job is not so easy and very expensive.
