1/24 Tamiya Porsche 911 GT1 number 27
Hey everyone,
After finishing my first WIP thread (F430 located here http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1012318) I want to take the momentum from actually finishing a model right into a new, more ambitious project for me. Here is the examples I will be working from: As you can tell I haven't found a lot for reference so i doubt it will be 100% accurate, but I will try to improve as many skills as I can in the process. I have had this Tamiya kit with the Renaissance transkit/decals for about 5 years or so and the plans are obviously to open the doors with hinges which is new to me and I see it being my most challenging aspect of the build. I also have the Scale Motor Sports Carbon Fiber template set as well as their photoetch set. I really need to study all of the instructions to know what needs to be done when and how so I don't miss too many things as I have on prior builds. Anyways here ares some pics of what I have to start with : Any comments/suggestions/criticism welcome. I am hoping to not spend 5 years between completed models this time around Thanks for looking, Justin

Subscribed! I like the livery and the idea of opened doors.
