Dragging front brakes, evan after replacing hoses, calibers, rotors and pads????
Ok, so one day my Mom calls and says she smells a funny smell coming from her car after driving a moderate distance, and sometimes her brake pedal is really hard to push down.
after inspection, the calibers seemed to be sticking on both sides, SUPERHeating them all up, and literally turning the pads to ash..... we replaced the master cylinder 2 months ago, and still seems to work perfectly. so i replaced the brake hoses, new calibers, new rotors, new pads but it still seems to heating rather fast, evan started smoking after driving around the block, i've never seen this happen before after replacing all that anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?? the only things left to replace is the Power brake booster and i've been told that it would not cause this anyway?? or the Metal brake lines, but that seems pointless since the brake fluid seems to flow just as it should when bleeding brakes. i've been told to try flushing the brake system completely with a "power bleeder" to make sure there is no corrosion in the lines?? any help would be appreciated, i'm hitting a brick wall at this point lol running out of ideas |

New pads have to be broken in they will smell funny and maybe even smoke a little the first few times. But if it keeps up and you already replaced all of that honestly theres not really anything else it could be...
