Programing a remote
I used to have a 2001 CRV and I purchased a couple of aftermarket remotes to use with it since it came with none but was set up for them. Any way I now have my wife's 2004 hand me down which already has remotes. My question is can I re program the other remote to this car or does the car get reprogrammed to the remote ? There are two that came with the car so this is not essential but since I have it, it seems like it would be good to program it, if possible, to use with this car.

Re: Programing a remote
It's the same as the regular Honda remote. I just want to know what actually gets programed ... the car or the remote ? I know the procedure to do the programing. I already have two remotes and want to program this remote but I want to be sure it is the remote that gets programed and not the vehicle itself.
