Oil spraying out
Hello hoping someone can help me out on this i have a 93 aerostar all wheel drive and at the moment it wont start but when it would run oil would spray out from the front end and not sure what is the problem i was told it could be something called a oil switch thats the problem but im not sure if it is but i didnt manage to get it to run for about a few seconeds before it died again if anyone could help me with this it would be great

have you got it started yet? on that switch he's probably talking about oil sending unit witch should be rite by your oil filter. now i have seen fram oil filters rust threw. if you haven't got it started check see if your get spark to the plugs.

Ok spent more time working on the van and now it will turn over but wont start up at all i checked the spark plugs to see if there getting any spark and they are i even tried sparying starting fluid in the throttle body which did no good it acts like its not getting any gas at all the last time it ran before it broke down the motor had just died completely without any warning at all im stuck and not sure what is keeping my van from running any ideas were to go from here would be so great

If you are not getting gas to the motor, then check the common things first.
Is there gas in the gas tank? Have you changed the filters? Is your fuel pump working? Are any lines pinched? Most likely your fuel delivery problem is one of the above. Have no idea about your oil problem, though. |
