92 GM codes

I read my codes and got a 111 with engine off, and a 412 with engine on. I looked in Hanes, but they don't offer much info. If anyone could help me know what those are, I'd be grateful! Thanks

Re: 92 GM codes

Thanks for the codes WTO. I don't know why it would say system is fine! It has a very obvious "miss' while idling. I suppose an 02 sensor doesn"t ALWAYS show up eh?

Re: 92 GM codes

The EEC IV system is not very user friendly in that it will not pick up on misfire codes. That system also needs a full scan too,l to read all the sensors. Or if the tool can read Mode $06 it will give you a misfire count or percentage for each cyulinder. Look under test number 53. There will be 8 of them and will show the misfires. Been on vacation and left civilization. No phone, internet or cell phone. Me, wife, dog, boat and lots of adult beverages for a few days.
