Just bought - need a new engine, help!
I just bought a 2002 ford focus less than thirty days ago (sold As Is - No Warranty) and literally while I was at the dealership who sold it to me to pick up some paperwork it "threw a rod" (sorry I don't know anything about cars) and they said I need a whole new engine!
A new engine would cost more than I paid for the car to begin with and I'm already in debt from buying it, but it seems the dealership doesn't want to accept any responsibility. My question is, is there some way they would have known that there was something wrong with it or is that something that goes suddenly? I'm so at a loss, completely panicking here, if anyone has any good advice please share, thank you! |
