Better than MTX?
Are image dynamics, adire audio, resonant engineering, digital designs, treo, and ED all better than MTX? If so which ones you put in your car if you wanted 12's? And which ones would you use if you wanted 10's? Thanks

All of them stomp all over MTX. Any of them are awesome to get, but it depends on your budget and what you're trying to do with your setup and what kind of music it will be used for.

Re: Better than MTX?
They talk up mtx because that's all they know and it's what they sell. If you worked for Ford and made $200 cash from each person who bought a Ford, would you tell someone to go buy a Chevy instead? Maybe you would if you actually cared about cars and the customer instead of the paycheck, and the same goes for audio. Most of the people who work in those shops don't know anything about audio, don't care about audio, and don't care about the customer, it's just another paycheck to them. There are a few who do care but they're few and far between, in all my searching I've found ONE shop like that, the rest are just filled with the same clueless people.
As for what you should get, this is the 3rd thread you've made on the same topic, I posted my answer in the 1st one.

Re: Better than MTX?
for your setup 5 13ov2's and 5 nine.2's would be nice....since you only got a cube for each sealed. ED will give you the 5 amps and 5 subs for under 1600. you'll need to do some electrical system work.

Re: Better than MTX?
Yeah sorry I'm not trying to get annoying and make a bunch of threads n stuff...i just wasn't really satisfied with the answers that I got cause I heard that it wouldn't really make any sense or sound as good as 5 of the same thing, to do what you told me to do in my 1st thread.

I have to agree, most shops are staffed by clueless people .... especially the big boxes. Most shops carry what they can make the biggest profit on. I couldn't work at a place like that, I would sell them what they NEED - not a bunch of crap they don't need.

Re: Better than MTX?
if u want subs that will hit and be for a decent price go either mtx or fosgate for mtx u need the 9500 and for fosgate you have to go old school and get the hx2 series these are both speakers i have had and they slammed, i have 1 12" mtx 9500 adn it hits harder than any 2 12" i have ever had the fosgate hit a deeper base but not as hard as the MTX
