sorry but austin martins are known to be big luxo cruisers with alot of grunt. but it was never intended to win races at a circuit which was what the ferrari was designed to do.

Ahem. Le Mans, 1959, Aston Matin DBR-1. Does this ring a bell?

Yes, Astons are luxurious cruisers for the most part. There never were as many competition Astons as there were competition Ferraris. But there were competitive Astons that kept pace with the Ferraris in the 50's and 60's, and there are Astons out now that compete directly with the equally luxurious Ferraris. Are we forgetting that of the four current production Ferraris, two are ultra-lux GT's? The 456GT Modifica and the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage are made for each other as competitors. And the 575 Maranello is lined up right in the sights of the Vanquish. Come on folks, Aston doesn't have a mid-engined go-kart like the Modena or the Enzo. Don't compare Apples to IBM's. *rimshot*

Yeah, Ferrari and Aston Martin cater to the same elite market...

Still, the DB5 is a much cooler car than the F335. Besides, it's British, it has character!

Hey, space-pace-grace was the Jaguar slogan in the sixties. Let's not get confused.

Anybody know what would happen in reality?
The F355 would cruise far, far into the distance, very, very quickly. Look at the scene where they go around a tight bend, the Aston's tyres squealing and smoking while the F355 cruises around easily. It's a complete no-contest

no way! The F355 is the most beautiful Ferrari of all time. Perfectly formed as well as having a vicously sonic soundtrack
