I bought this kit way back in 94 when i was still in junior high, recently i looked around my old stash and found this kit, and i decided to rebuild it because the parts were still complete but not in one piece .
The first color was blue, and it was built OOB. Let me know what you think and Thanks for looking Krishna Iskandana Indonesia ps: sorry for my english |

I dig it; the wheels are somewhat large for it for my tastes but then again, it looks great!! Terrific work!! The red really "pops" !

Looks really cool. What kit is this? I have the AMT version & I think yours looks different. I think the AMT kit is wron around the heardlights so lots of reshaping there for me!

Re: (another) Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
The Shelby has a longer nose than the stock '68 if I'm not mistaken. So it will look out of place if you think it's a stock mustang.
This one's got me checking my closet. I think I have this kit in there somewhere, it's easy enough, I could knock one out in a few weeks.

Re: (another) Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
rsxe240: I think you misunderstood me. I know the 68 Shelby nose is different, what I meant was that the AMT version is slightly incorrect around the edges of the headlights, i.e. - the headlights do not have the curved mouldings to the outer edges that you see on the real version if you look close up, plus there are no panel lines for the edges of the headlight moulding. Other than that I think the AMT version is pretty good (except the rear spoiler is a bit too shallow). There are some good pics of real versions on 'carsonline' site. Actually I've just checked and I think the version in this thread is the 67 Shelby as the hood is different (front edge and power bulge).

Super shinny! I think it would look better with different rims though.
