89 std b16a hatch-vs-stock scion tc
I ve got a friend who is waiting for me to finish my swap because he says he can take my hatch with his tc. Ive never seen a tc run before and was curious how close it would be. Now i am just comparing the cars because I know its really the driver that makes the most difference. Im gonna run him when the track opens either way. Just curious what to expect outta his car.

Almost sounds like benchracing. How about you just race him. Then you'll know.Simple as that. TC's are pretty damn fast..not.

TC's are okay. They're not all that fast. I have a 94 Prelude Si with an H23 and my friend has an 08 TC and I beat him a few times.

A b16 hatch will kill a stock tc. A supercharged scion might be a closer race but a swapped hatch will still win.

You should definitly be able to beat the TC. I have a b16a crx and my friend has a stock TC and I am .6 seconds faster than him at least.

Re: 89 std b16a hatch-vs-stock scion tc
I think TC's are nice cars but fast, definitely not. They day I got my chrome tune for my swapped em1 I raced a TC who provoked me on the way home and it was a waste of gas. Killed him in one gear and I didn't look back. they have decent torque but without a turbo they'll lose in most scenarios. They look good though.
