94 Q45, Staling and Electric Problems
Hey guys i am wondering if anyone can offer me some helpful information.
I just got a 94 Q45, with 90K miles on it. The car has a stalling problem, when the engine is cold it does not stall, when the engine gets warm it starts stalling from 1-3K RMP. But the thing is it doesent always stall when its warm, sometimes it runs perfect, than few blocks down it will start stalling again and im having a hard time friguring out whats wrong with it (Fuel Injector, timing belt?) The secound problem i have is Electrical, when i turn off the car within 40min-1hr the battery is completly dead. I tested the car battery, its in good condition. I checked the radio, light switches, some visible harnests under the hood and found nothing. Anything you guys can recoment checking?i cant frigure out whats drawing that much power to kill the battery that fast... I dont have my own garage otherwise i would pull the engine out and check the harnests out and rebuilt the tranny. |

Re: 94 Q45, Staling and Electric Problems
Check the MAF connection, then the soldering in the MAF if the connection is fine. Also, look at the alternator waveform for bad diodes.
If either fails, or even the transmission, get a replacement parts at www.infinitpartsusa.com Don't go for American retailer or local rebuild. They will not do as good a job as Nissan who does nothing but thier own rebuilds.
