Re: ac condensate

their may be a rubber elbow connected to the plastic tube that comes out of firewall and you can remove it very easy,I assume you believe it to be plugged and u gonna use a coat hanger or simlier to clean?

Re: ac condensate

Yes to the plugged issue. Haven't given any thought as how to clear it. Condensate leaking into the passenger compartment. Just looked and didn't see anything definitive. I've located where the heater hose and the ac lines enter the firewall. But no sign of anything resembling a drain.

Re: ac condensate

if u found those lines then your right there, like I said theres a rubber elbow that comes down and back abit it`s about 5 inches long and the end will look like its pinched closed.passenger side.

If you lift the carpet on pass. side where your left foot rests that is where the tube exits the firewall.

Re: ac condensate

Mechanic 33, thanks for hanging in there for me. I found it. They hid it very well. took a mirror and falshlight and removing some insulation, but I squeezed the 90 and the water came pouring out. Now, if you have any plumbing issues, maybe can help you. Thanks again.
