88 fiero, empty fuel tank
is there a easy to empty the gas tank?

Short answer: no
Long answer: There is no easy way to drain the tank without dropping it out of the car and removing the pump. If you drain the tank by disconnecting the fuel line at the throttle body or fuel rail and running the pump via it's test lead, you'll run any gunk in the tank through the pump, plugging the pickup screen and possibly killing the pump in the process.
