timing belt
My engine is making a chirping sound. I was told that it was the timing belt guide. I guess there is a replacement guide to solve the problem. Has anyone ever done this and if so how long does it take and is it difficult?

Re: timing belt
I haven't done this vehicle but a 4 cylinder ranger can easily be done in a days time. A mechanic around an hour or two.
You need a Haynes manual or similar type manual with pictures. The pulleys have to be set a certain way. The manual shows where the timing marks are. |
