3 rotor RX-8?!?!

Somewhere around this site i read that there was a company in NY or washington, forget which state, that put a turbo charged 3 rotor engine in an RX-8. My question is where can i find a three rotor engine for MY RX-8? I love the 2 rotor and the fact that they push out such awsome power with minimal heat and friction causes great pleasure in my neather reagion. But when i heard there is a 3 rotor engine that can be bought for the basic consumers (us as people) I damn near busted both nuts. Can anyone help me in finding a phone number or address or website to the location of a 3 rotor engine for my RX-8?

Actually its around 40k to finish all the upgrades + the engine to make the RX8 capable of handling the power and weight. But that is ok because I am looking for a 20b now

Um the 20b is a 3 rotor, and it's been done plenty of times in the rx-8 and it doesnt cost 40g to do it.

He's right, you could just buy a used or blown motor and that would be much cheaper then buying a new one and then just rebuild yourself or pay to have it done. If you live in cali then there are plenty of shops around to help you out. 10 g's is realistic.

Re: 3 rotor RX-8?!?!

www.pettitracing.com

^they sell a "crate motor" if you will, a modded version of the 20B, ported already, with basic upgrades, stock twin Hitachi turbos and pushing out 500whp and 450something wtq. They sell it as a kit i think, with the necessary hardware to drop the motor in any rx7 chassis you may have,
contact them adn find out if they also supply the engien subframe for the rx8.

just google "Pettit Racing TKT Banzai Edition" and you should be greeted with some pics of a chameleon FD with some sick-ass wide rear tires with the motor in it...gotta love the fact that the motor they sell is basically stock, very reliable and responsive, all while giving you 500 ponies to play with.

yeah you could probably have racing beat or neptune speed rebuild your motor, they have some good tuners too.....racing beat was involved with the upcoming of the 8 and neptune speed has a rotary tuner straight outta japan, i heard he knows alot...
