What is the bolt pattern on my '78 Electra?
My '78 Electra 225 Ltd. is crrently at a friends storage shed in another state. I saw a set of rims online for sale that I want. I cannot get there to measure the bolt pattern so I need your help. What size bolt pattern do I have? Is it a 5x4.75 or is it a 5x5? Thank You.

Your post has been moved to the Electra forum.
Most likely the 5 X 4.75" or 5 X 120.65mm. Pretty standard for GM cars of that model and vintage.

Re: What is the bolt pattern on my '78 Electra?
hi there
there is no definite answer here both patterns were used on B bodies and specifially on the electras of the 70s electras were among the group of the largest RWD cars of their years, alongside the big caddies and so on i had a '77 electra 403ci th350 and it had the 5 on 5" large pattern i put chevy pickup rally wheels on it at one point so i could run the 31x10.50" A/T tires that were on them, for the snow 1/2" wheel studs quick way to know the pattern without even measuring: look at your wheel studs if they are the big 1/2" ones then you have the 5" pattern if they are the little 7/16" studs then you have the 4 and 3/4" pattern these are the only two patterns used on all GM RWD 5 and 6 lug trucks and cars since at least the '60s and through the '90s very simple good luck

randy78,
Thanks for your input, however, please check the date and do not resurrect old threads per AF and our forum guidelines. See link below. This one is well over a year old. Thread closed. Old Thread Rule
