heater help!?!?!
I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and recently The blower only works on 4 and 5 and will not blow out the vents while on the head position, Blows fine in the floor and thru the defroster but only on 4 and 5. does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm a female and would like some idea as to what the problem is before I bring it in as I don't want to get screwed and have them fixing a bunch of crap that doesn't need it. Thanks for ANY help!

Re: heater help!?!?!
The blower relay/ resistor is bad, very common, it's on the blower case behind and to the lt of the glove box.

Re: heater help!?!?!
One thing that i discovered today while working on my 2003 Envoy is that i found a fuse in the box under the hood for the blower fan( a square, 40 amp, clear top fuse) when i pulled the fuse the blower would work 1-4, but 5 would not work untill i replaced the fuse. Hope this might help someone.

Re: heater help!?!?!
That fuse is for the high speed circuit only, as you found out.
