Removing 02 Sonoma Stock Stereo

Just wondering if someone knows where all the screws are so I can take out the stock to put in a new cd player?

Its the same stereo you would find in a 00 Cavalier (I installed a new deck into a Cavalier and it was the same stereo except the Cavalier was a cd player and the one in the Sonoma is a Radio only but its the same size).

So could anyone tell me where the screws are? I am positive it is much less difficult than the Cavalier, I had to completely take off the dash.

Thank you for the help!

Re: Removing 02 Sonoma Stock Stereo

theres 2 screws above your gauges in the plastic take thos out(should be phillips). then pull out the left side of the dash and unhook your light switches then your right side and unhook your 4wd(if its 4wd). then tilt your wheel down then push the dash insert down then pull back on it, helps if your truck is in 1st gear cause you get more clearance. Then all there is , is a couple screws to take out the headunit and youre done.
