Re: Only Getting 6 Volts, Need 12
How old is the amp? Does it go into protection mood or will it not get any power?

Re: Only Getting 6 Volts, Need 12
The guy at Stero Shop said the power line was only feeding 6v and it was most likely the fuse.
I just replaced the whole thing and got a new fuse box with an 80A fuse in it. I bought the AMP last year, used it for a month, and then I sold the car it was in and it has been sitting in its packaging on a shelf in my closet since then. UPDATE I just had a small breakthrough with it. I was playing around with some settings on the back and it lit up. All the blue LEDs came on, and it did not go into protected mode. It stayed on for litleeraly a second but the ground wire slipped out. There was a lot of tension on it so I am checking that right now. |

Re: Only Getting 6 Volts, Need 12
Well, I now have power to the amp.... It lights up and its not in protected mode but, the subs are not hitting. I played around with some settings on the amp and the head unit but still a no go.
Any ideas? |

Do the speakers work at all? Make sure you have the positive and neg. hooked up correctly. And also that you have the correct ohms going to the speakers and amp.
