Completly Wrecked
Well I was on a few months ago asking for help to fix a few problums with my 91 5.0 mustang GT. And well I was driving it home from my mechanic who was about 5 miles from my house. I had just signed a $600 check to him for the new radiator, new light switch toggle, and some brake work done. Long story short 2 miles down the road going 55 MPH down hill my axel snapes and I wake up 200 yards donw the road in a car that rolled 5 times.... Twice end over end.

I believe the Engien is still good. And seeing how this is work done and Not some kind of performance mod thing. How does anyone think I should go about pulling the 302 outa this wreck.... so the rest can be scraped.... Also if anyone wants to buy the wreck for whatever reason your wlecom to offer up. The Maxflows are still great condition as well so I'll pull those off..... But anyone who has any Ideas on how like 2 people ca wrestel the engien outa this thing I would like to know.... I dont really have much as far as mechanic tools |

Re: Completly Wrecked
And while im at it.... I was thinking about conecting a red neon strip to the inside of my bupmer of my 2002 Mustang and connecting strip this to my brake lights. I will also cut the Mustang writing out of the bumper with a dremel and put some of the cheep wire mesh in the cuts for the red to glow off. Dose anyone think this is a good Idea???
(Just cut out the part with the white reflective writing) |

Re: Completly Wrecked
That's a sad sight if I ever saw one. It looks just like the white '89GT I used to have.
On pulling the engine, pull the hood off and just start unbolting stuff. Pull the headers, unbolt the midpipe, disconnect all hoses and electrical, remove the radiator/AC condensor, and pull the engine and trans as one. Also get as much of the undamaged wiring that you can. Get the ECU/chassis harness from behind the passenger side kickpanel also. Personally I don't think cutting out the letters on the back of your '02 would look that good, even with a red light behind them.
