98 blazer speedometer and ODOMETER problem
 i have a 98 blazer and my speedometer and odometer doesnt work. i tired every thing to my knowledge from changing the speed sensor and checking the cable of the sensor dont know what it could be .i been drive like this since i bought the car and dont want to take it to a mechanic because they charge alot and right now cant afford it with school and everthing could it be the transmission or the computer of the car? please help any ideas |

You need to get it on a engine /transmission capable scanner and check for codes and speed sensor signal getting to the computer.
If any codes post back codes. If a good speed sensor signal in the computer you will need to check wiring to and odometer/speedometer. Sometimes unplugging and plugging the speedometer back up will help. MT
