Benefits of disabling the EGR?
One of the features of my Predator is that i can disable my cars EGR "for off-road use" lol. But i was wondering what are the benefits (if any) of this and if there are any, what are the negative effects?

Re: Benefits of disabling the EGR?
I don't think you'll gain much of anything disabling your EGR system. It only comes on during part-throttle/cruising anyway. It will not come on during idle or wide open throttle. The only benefit I can possibly see is that by disabling that system is the intake might run a few degrees cooler, allowing a denser air charge. If your catalytic converters are still in place, I would suggest not disabling it.

Re: Benefits of disabling the EGR?
There really aren't any benefits, most people that delete it do it just so the engine bay looks cleaner.
