Tranny

I had my 1988 4runner up on axle stands while fixing the 4wheel drive so i could test it to make sure it was working after i had fixed it.I just had to tinker with the linkage that ingages the 4wheel drive, nothing seriose. I took it down cleaned out the throttle body, put it all back together and took it for a spin but now it wont switch out of first gear(automatic transmission). Any suggestions would be a great help, thanks?

Re: Tranny

Is it possible you have mis-adjusted the linkage to keep you in 4-Lo?
