All GT's, Cobra's, Bullits, and Mach 1's came with the Hydro-booster, only the V6's came with the vacume booster... There is no room for the vacume booster to fit in the engine bay with the modular engines due to the high of the modular block and the location of the over head cams. So Ford uses the powersteering pump to add boost to the brake systems, which is actually a good thing. Too bad my fox body did not have a hydra booster... than I could have really gone crazy with a wild cam.

hydro-boost? is a brake booster that uses the power of the Powersteering pump to apply the boost instead of using vacume from the intake.
