looking for a deeper tone for exhaust?
I have a 2003 GMC Envoy xl with the 4.2 Liter I-6 and I am looking to get a deeper tone out the exhaust. Anyone have any suggestions?
I was thinking of cutting off the muffler and putting on a straight pipe, or going to go with a flowmaster or magna flow muffler. Can someone help? |

Re: looking for a deeper tone for exhaust?
I had the resonator cut off at the back and an SS pipe installed with tip on my TB. Increased sound just a little. I've heard the magnaflow exhausts rust out very fast. The borlas are like 1k.

Go with flowmaster, my dad did it to his old Envoy and it sound good. He just swapped the stock muffler with the flowmaster, it was a super 40. Sounded good.
