1993 Ford Probe Suprise
I recently got a car with a lot of trunk space and I took the factory radio out and now the factory speakers won't work. They work when I plug back in the factory radio and not when I put the new one back in. So, I ran a wire directly. Now, I was wondering if anyone has any hints on how to get some loudness. I know I have cheap stuff, but I have 2 12's and 2 10's. The 2 12's are in a box together and the 10''s are seperate. I had them hooked up and they sound like crap. I have a 12in Nitro a 12' AudioBANK and 2 10in Visonik's ANyone got any wiring tips?

you will need to wire a harness from your new CD player to the harness that plugs into the harness that went to the factory radio.
you need to use EITHER the 10's OR the 12's .... not both sets. |

An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |

Re: 1993 Ford Probe Suprise
Ok got the new radio put in harness and all. I have put stereos in before I'm not a newbie, but I just would like some tips on how to get what I have to really HIT. I will use the 12's if I could figure that out and get it to beat decent.
Yeah, AudioBank. Immitation crap! |

Re: 1993 Ford Probe Suprise
it's quite possible they could sound better than the speakers they are imitating

For ultimate "thumpage" I would go with the most powerfull pair of subs you got.. with the most powerful amp you got.. I myself would say 10s..
