Cant remember who posted it but if you see it give yourself credit Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. Are Clarion subs rated any good? I was thinking about getting some. I have a Clarion deck that works great...it's the DXZ555MP

HU from clarion are supposed to pretty badass, but i cant say ive heard the same on there subs.

incriminator audio would be good for you to look into, i have 2 of their 187 series tens and with only 400 watts i meter a 138 @ 34 hz in bass race, i use the song, i love it by jeezy

You can also look into the RE-RE, RE-SE, and the soundsplinter Rl-i subs. They are all in about that price range with the RE-RE being the cheapest, and i can get them for a good price, but i cant give out the prices sorry.
