25th Anniversary stalling problem
I have a 25th Countach (FI) that stall constantly until the engine oil temp is up around 125. It then runs fine most of the time, but will then start stalling at about 3000 rpm after a high speed run (150 mph). This stalling is inconsistent. Our Kiwanis wants to use the car in a parade at the end of the month, and I don't have a lot of time. I do most of my own work as the closest dealer is about 120 miles away. Can anyone help me with info about the most common stalling problems on this car? Thanks for your assistance! (There is gas in the tank!)

Re: 25th Anniversary stalling problem
Raymond, thanks for the referenced website. I believe it helped me correct another problem I have, but it did not correct the stalling problem. I do believe the problem to be electrical, but have not yet identified the cause. If you have any other suggestions, they will be appreciated!

Re: 25th Anniversary stalling problem
Vacuum leak;.....(Check it). Thats a transitional temperature for the F.I. from closed to open loop I believe so if it's fine either hot, or cold, but stalling in between (125*F) that MAY be it. Otherwise, take it to someone who KNOWS and doesn't guess. It is a simple diagnosis for someone with the right equip. - 1 ~3 hour job tops. I had a 88 1/2 with the same problem and thats what it was I was too lazy to check something sooo simple.
Good Luck, Cheers!
