I have had my 04 for two trouble free years. 45k mile. The l-6 has plenty of power and runs smooth and quiet. 18mpg city / 23 highway

Smoothness, ease of basic maintenance and under-hood purdyness are the plusses of the 4.2L I6 IMO. Power feel and towing is good, but she's no tire smoker with GM's software and gearing. MPG wise? May as well get a V8. TB's are a great used buy. There's a zillion of them on the road.

Re: Want a TB....
