Le Mans Test Day
Terry Borcheller was eighth fastest in GT1. Note the different exhaust when compared to the one from 2005. |

Acemco has qualified 7th in GT1 for Le Mans.
They (Acemco) have made a new website for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will be the first time since 2003 that a Saleen S7R has raced at Le Mans. |

Re: Saleen S7Rs racing in 2006
Acemco finished 6th in GT1 and 11th overall at Le Mans.
Edit: At least one S7R had finished the race in 2001, 2002, and 2003. They had been in 3rd place at least at one point during the race. Acemco claims on their website that "more details to come" but it has been four weeks since the race and they haven't posted a review. non-race pics race pictures Last edited by dan carlson; 07-25-2006 at 04:48 PM. |

Zakspeed's S7R received a smaller rear wing by around 5.6 inches for the third race in FIA GT after one podium finish and one win. They finished 4th in the third race.

4th place finish in the 1,000 km of Nürburgring
Ortelli grabbed the GT1 pole in the # 55 Saleen. They had led half of the race, but the car had starter motor problems before four hours of racing had been completed which dropped them back to a 4th place finish. The rear spoiler from the Spa race is gone. |
