306 steering problem!!
Ok here goes first time on here, and not a master of description!!
I have a 1995 306 Dt when above 40mph and steering round right hand bends the car appears to carry on going further than i steer, as though there is some kind of soft spot that makes it carry on!! usuallly occrs if the corner tightens up and i add a bit more it jst seems to slide over. The tyres are all brand new and correct pressure! There may also be a connection with a juder/shake that i get through the steering wheel at speeds over 40mph when braking. The front brake discs have been changed but the problems continue! Any suggetions would be much appreciated, save the student loan going to the local mechanic(not that he isnt a very nice fellow) Cheers |

Re: 306 steering problem!!
possibly some sort of suspension wear, very hard to say what could be a drivers side top mount.
i'm presuming the garage has suspected warped discs which is why they have been changed, did they change discs and pads together? |

Re: 306 steering problem!!
lower ball joints, hubs and bearings. my 306 lowered on 17's would get through ball joints every year, and passenger hub became worn so even new ball joints were sloppy.
