a/c nightmare
alright guys feel free to laugh and make fun i deserve it
well i was going to do a readiator backflush so i bought a kit from autozone. so im looking for the hose to splice and when i see a hose that i think is the water hose, i cut it well some kind of steam came out in high pressure, just thoought it was the pressure from the radiator. so now i put my kit on it and run water through the hose seconds later i realize that my dumb crackhead self just jacked up my a/c. i ran water through a hose that connects to the compressor and now i need to fix it what should i do any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks |

You might be able to save part of it but it is going to take some work. You can do it yourself or you can find a good air cond shop. First thing the system needs flushed out and a new reciever dryer. And you need a line repair where you chopped it apart. Add new oil and put a vacume pump on it and pump and pump it. A full vacume pump on it for a day should remove what moisture that is left. Here is a link that may help. http://www.autoacforum.com/ Let us know how it goes. MT
