Pheonix Supra unbeaten on the Street??
I saw an Article about this so called unbeatable Supra..
Now 9.50 at thrstrip is awesome.. but as owners of TT427 LPE vette and Hennessey Vipers they run that on the road.. i'm certain that the Supra in question is set up for track..( for its 9.50 run) and tp end.. well if an LPE 427 TT can acheive 227 mph.. i feel it unlikely that this Supra is unbeatable on the street.. I truly wish i lived in Pheonix so i could have a shot at him.. its(Supra) times and acceleration seem beatable by a Nitrous fed Zo6 TT427 Vete.. i know i'd bet heavily on myself |

Re: Pheonix Supra unbeaten on the Street??
Im sorry Jswigz, He is trying to call out possibly the most bad ass supra on the street. A car that pulls the tires off the ground 3" on pavement.. not only at the strip, on street pavement. With a corvette that goes 227mph??
I geuss he doesn't realize that a higher top speed doesn't mean you win races.. races typically have a start and finish point. |

Ryan's car blew up
I was at Speedworld Raceway last night and witnessed Ryan's car blow up. Flames were everywhere about 50 feet high. I thought he was dead but he walked out thanks to his fire suit. I don't have video but it's pretty spectacular. It blew up while heating up the tires in the water. If anyone finds a posted video let me know.

Re: Pheonix Supra unbeaten on the Street??
Ryan Woo's car? isnt that the Supra previewed in Sport Compact Car??? i aint sure but seems like a fast as hell Supra. Is his supra REALLY the fastest one in the streets of America? You never kno, someone mite have a 1200 horse Supra cruzing around somewhere in the Streets of America lookin to kill the Vettes and Vipers.

"a 1200hp supra cruzing around somewhere on in the streets of america"......what a concept. well i'm going the Fontana speedway the 19th of march to see if such a car exists, i really do wish everyone could come and see if "these guys" can pull it off and put some real numbers up. if so i will definatly start a new thread with some pics and maybe a video link if i can figure this out(not good with computers). |
