Help with keyless entry on 97 Monte Carlo

Hello Everyone,

I just got a transmiter (key fob) for my girlfriends Monte, the programing instructions say access a black and white wire in the right side trunk area, also it may be in a harness. I look for a hour and never found the wire or a harness? could there be another point to access this wire, I did find a black with white stripe wire in a plastic conduit in the area but I jumped it to ground and no luck. Thanks for any help...
