Question Leaf Spring Lift Question

I was wondering: What can I put between the support for the lift and the leaf springs that would hold up good for a while? I was hoping for at least 3 inches. I heard that hockey pucks work alright...is there something better? What do you guys think?
Thanx!

I think you should spend the money on a proper lift kit...

Cause it's not proper, it's taking short cuts and it's not sound...Hence it being called a redneck lift

New Forum Section

I think we should start another forum title retarded posts. So that this post and other retarded posts can go in there and when it's about midnight and we're all toasty drunk we can go and have a laugh.

Well, I guess if your life is so pathetic that you have to get drunk and look at a forum about cars to get a laugh then be my guest. But I suppose that's what it takes after a long day of artificially inseminating cows.....whatever..

I was trying to keep it from becoming insulting. I was just trying to give you an honest opinion by suggesting the correct lift. If you have a cheap mud bogger truck thats not worth investing the money in, then those "hockey puck" lift kits are ok, otherwise I was just trying to suggest waiting until you can get the more expensive proper kit.

I'm not pissed at anyone..the reason I put the post up is for feedback and I appreciate your help, CreepingDeath. I just think its hilarious when you have people like OffRoadSonoma that come on and try to bash someone else for no reason. I don't have a cheap bogger so I'm going to take your advice and save for the better lift. Thanx!

Ha. Artificially inseminating cows. Sounds like thats your job and you're a little un-happy with it. As for myself I am a 19 yr. old sprinklerfitter that pulled down $38 THOUSAND, yes, THOUSAND dollars last year. This year should be over $42 THOUSAND. So as far as your cow humping job goes, thats not me buddy. And I know you're new and all, but if you would have done any looking at the other posts on ANY of these forums you would have noticed that when noobs like you ask question about cheap setups, or half-assed setups, that any guy on here will tell you to do it right or buy better stuff. That is why I said this should be in a forum titled retarded post. So ya, that's about it.Talk to ya guys later.

Re: Re: Re: New Forum Section

Sprinklerfitter? Sounds like a part-time-turned-full-time job you landed after you realized that you're too fuckin stupid to pursue college. Good luck with that job buddy after you realize that in twenty years when you're sitting in your split level house next to your five kids and overweight wife, that maybe the sprinkler industry wasn't so great after all. And that's right, I am a noob. Big fuckin deal, you were a noob once. I see you aren't looking to keep your pride, either, because you lost is as soon as you replied to my post in the manner that you did. Oh, by the way, "Ha. Artificially inseminating cows. Sounds like thats your job and you're a little un-happy with it." Great reply...if we were in second grade playing "I know you are but what am I?" Spare me, shitdick.
