1994 Passat - Can't roll down any windows

One day the windows just stopped rolling down

No sound when the buttons are pushed for drivers side, passangers side, or either of the windows in the rear. It is very odd.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check fuse #14. There is also another hard-to-find fuse above the main fuse/relay panel in a seperate holder.

Uh yea, I had that problem too, I checked for fuses until I was blue ion the face, that is of course the best place to start. Eventually gave up, went to Radio shack got two double pole doublethrow momentary switches, wired them directly - one to each of the front window motors and mounted them in the center console, a lot of work but it works fine, the dealer window regulator part to replace is a few hundred bucks and is a dealer only part, meaning it is hard to get and really$$$$.
