Suspension swaps

Does anyone know what mods (if any) I would have to make to upgrade my rear suspension to maybe a gti? My 94 metro hb had a tow package on it when I got it and I sometimes use it to pull my small fishing boat(about 250 lbs). My rear springs are pretty worn out and I would like to replace them soon.
Thanks

Springs

I have some rear springs I pulled from a 2000 Geo Metro 4 door sedan if you are interested in some good springs.

Those springs would be the ticket!

Add sway bars and and make a strut brace.

The GTi swap is not hard. You'd need the complete rear suspension and if doing the rear you wii need to swap the front as well.

Re: Suspension swaps

I think I will try some new springs and not try to do gti conversion , what are you asking for the springs off the 2000?

Re: Suspension swaps

This metro is my every day driver and I cant(wont ) pay 2.20 a gallon for gas in my F150 that takes about 3-4 gallons to get me to work. I know my luck and if I tried to do a swap over a weekend ,something would break and the metro would be down for a week or two, then it costs me $200.00 to drive to work for a week!lol
