sc suspension

My buddy has a 1997 sc300 and it rides so damn smooth yet sporty. What makes its suspension so sweet?

Id assume it would have something to do with the fact that its a heavy car and sits on the road solidly because of that.

That's probably true. I have a 1990 Q45 that weighs in at 2 tons and although it's that heavy it did ride and handle smoothly. Maybe the SC's center of gravity is even lower than the Q and makes it feel even sportier.

yeah that could be it. it could also be the tyres. i just drove my mates and it isnt as smooth as last time i drove it but thats because he now has 19" rims on it. the ride is a bit rougher but the handling is much better.

base model sc300 = ~3800 lbs
fully loaded sc400= ~4200 lbs

They're boats. I got some coilovers for mine recently... Finaly handles like it should. hehe 20kg springs in the front.
