by george ive got it!!!
ok, i think ive made up my mind. i would just like some of you other stangers opinions. my friends dad said that he'd GIVE (key word) me his 351w block thats out of an 89' delivery van. i think its got 150k miles on it. and then i know this other guy thats gotta c4 that he is swapping to a c6 and i could get a deal on that also...does this souind like a pretty usable set up. im totally getting hooked up here and i find it very hard to pass up! would there be alot of adjustments made to get that c4 to bolt up? any feed back will be very much appreciated!

Wait a minute, what happend to the twisted wedge heads? Why this decision to go with the 351. I for one would stick with the 302, if it were me. Bore it, stroke it, but thats as far as I plan on leaping. I say that because the parts for a 302 are more plentiful than the 351. But its your car do what you like, just keep us posted. Is this prodject turning into a track car?

Don't quote me, but I believe the C4 bolts right up to the 351W. As for parts not being plentiful for the 351W, a LOT of the parts for the 5.0 interchange with the 351, if I had the chance, I'd go for the 351. 150,000 miles? That's okay, bore it out.
