Video of 1st Production GT Delivery
This is a video of the very first Production Ford GT being delivered to a private owner. The owner won the car for $550,000 at the Christies Auction. $400,000 of the bid went to charity.

I saw the GT40 before it was for sale because i am lucky enough to live next to a pretty cool factory. The ford wixom assembly plant in wixom michigan builds them. They build the LS,T-bird, Town car, and GT40 there. I think we should just call it the GT40 since it is it's real name and ford has bad lawyers and lost the rights to the name so they call it the GT. I saw the first one i think in july or august and thought i was seeing things. First i was like, that doesnt look like a ferrari or lambo, but it doesnt look like anything else i've seen, i got closer to it and notice it was that new car i had seen on TV that ford was working on. It was on the highway, a red one. There is a yellow one on the roof of the building (hope it isnt real cuz that would be an expensive sign)
