non turbo transmission in a turbo
every one keeps saying putting a non turbo transmission in a turbo car will help your performance i dont understand how. what do you think

Possibly ratios? I'm not sure... I do know that I wouldn't want to put a N/A trans into a turbo regardless. The turbo tranny is much stouter, and with a N/A tranny you are looking to grenade the damn thing. I'm not an expert by any means, but look for different ratios for your box rather than a N/A tranny swap.

I too have heard that the turbo trans is built for the greater HP than the NA, so I think it may very well cost you more in the longer run. Hold out and look for a turbo trans would be my advice also.
