Dumb Friends

OK, this does not really have to do with the RSX, but it is funny.

My friend AJ was riding shotgun with another friend of mine who just bought an 87 camaro. Aj asked if it did well drifting. So my other friend looks at him says, "Dude, I think this car is rear wheel drive!"

So AJ looks at him and aks if he had any idea what he just said. The other friend looks at him and say, "No, really, I think it is rear wheel drive, the ass end kicks out just like the pro drifters!"

The same friend called me today and asked me if it was ok to put water in the engine coolant tank.

Re: Dumb Friends

Tell him the properties in pee solve any flaws in the cooling system due to their zinc sediments and that he should replace his rad fluid with pee for 100 miles or more. And that it must be done on cars older than 10 years to reduce maintence and increase longevity.

The horrible smell will NEVER get out. Don't ask me how I know

Re: Dumb Friends

You should see some of the unreal threads that have been posted here in the past. Like the kid who painted his rotors or the guy who drilled a hole into his gas tank to inject the the nitrous...

Re: Dumb Friends

D'oh! God...people who ruin S2000s or IS300s (TOYOTA IS300s! wtf?!) should be deported...there is no excuse. Just take them, their nitrous injected power steering pumps and whatnot and dump them in the fucking ocean...

Re: Dumb Friends

that is ... relatively disturbing, canuck.

I can see how putting NOS into your exhaust manifold would help. You never know when your engine might reverse itself, suck air through the exhaust pipe, then spit fire out of your K+N filter.

And teh NOS in the gas tank. Nothing in the world quite like a little bit of vapor-lock.

Re: Dumb Friends

A friend of mine said I should have told him to put sprite and ice into it.

Oh yeah, another dumb thing that happened the other day. We were fixing the brakes on AJ's girlfriends Sunbird, and the rotor looked something like this:
\_______/---\_______/
AJ was putting the new pads on after i replaced the rotors, and we told him to make sure he put the anti-squeal compound on the friction surface, he looks up at us and says "No shit".

I think I need new friends.

Re: Dumb Friends

Ask him if he's changed his muffler bearings or blinker fluid lately.
